A court in Pinellas County, Florida has ruled that former neighbors must share adopted two years ago by Tina Walker. At the time she lived in a Madeira Beach apartment building across the hall from David Somerville and would often bring the dog when she visited. According to Fox 13, Somerville, who brought the custody suit told the court he was the one who most often fed the dog, took him for walks, and paid vet bills. He also noted, “Elario and I have a very strong bond love for each other. He has been with me 24/7 for the last year and a half…I believe that Elario is my dog and should stay with me." Walker told Tampa Bay Times she plans to appeal the joint custody ruling.
